Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Fizzdoc does the work inside your browser tab, using open-source engines compiled to WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from your device, processed locally, and the result is saved straight back to your device. You can check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run a job — no request carries your file.
Why would I want a scanned PDF?
Some offices and portals ask for scanned copies, and an image-only PDF stops casual copying or editing of the text. It also flattens form fields and comments into what you see on the page.
Will the file get bigger?
Usually, because pages are stored as pictures. Standard quality (150 DPI) keeps files small; High quality (300 DPI) keeps small print sharp.
